To anyone who's written off aluminum as a frame material of the past, you probably haven’t ridden an Allez lately. For the last five years, our engineers have been tirelessly working to redefine what aluminum is capable of on the road. And with the breakthrough performance of D'Aluisio Smart Weld (DSW) Technology, we've been able to coax a type of performance and compliance out of aluminum that many thought was impossible. DSW works by hydroforming the individual tubes of the frame to create a seamless and uniform weld location. This helps control the material thickness and shape, in turn creating an incredibly strong bond. In other words, the Allez has the type of stiffness and responsiveness that you’d expect from aluminum, only it's coupled with the type of tuned ride quality that you’d find in either the Rider-First Engineered Tarmac or Venge ViAS. It's pure, unadulterated performance, built to take whatever you throw its way and still show up asking for more.


One of the great parts of having your own Win Tunnel is that no bike is off limits. When we started designing the new Allez Sprint, we knew that power transfer and ride quality were paramount. Then we got it in the Win Tunnel, and we realized that we could make it pretty damn fast, too. The down tube, seat tube, and seatstays have all been aerodynamically optimized to reduce drag, without sacrificing any of the explosive responsiveness that crit racing and sprinting demands. The result is a bike that saves 1.3 meters in a sprint compared to a traditional Allez.


Whether you're sprinting for the finish line or the country line, any bike worth its salt should be able to take an incredible amount of input and translate it directly into forward momentum. And along these lines, the Allez Sprint was designed to do just this and more. With its revolutionary DSW bottom bracket junction, we've been able to create an incredibly stiff bottom bracket area that provides a supremely efficient connection with the chainstays. As a result, the bike lays claim to power transfer comparable to our S-Works Tarmac.


What is power without control? Taking what we learned from the Tarmac and Venge ViAS, we created six distinctive DSW head tubes that are coupled with three uniquely sized S-Works FACT carbon forks. This ensures that you get the same razor-sharp steering input and ride quality across the entire size spectrum. Bottom line: Whether you're diving into a high-speed corner on a breakaway, or trying to close down a gap in the final surge to the line, the Allez Sprint will give you the confidence that you need to go all out.
