What We Do
The bike will be evaluated by using Bicycle Blue Book to gain the starting trade-in value. Costs of any major component needed to condition the bike safe will be deducted from the trade-in value. Roswell Bicycles will cover the labor costs of installing the parts.
What You Get!
The final value can then be applied to any new purchase or put on a Roswell Bicycles gift card for any future purchase. Gift card cannot be redeemed for cash.
Trade-In Policy
Roswell Bicycles can assess many bicycles to be traded in towards a new bike purchase or store credit. Roswell Bicycles will not outright buy back any bicycles.
Roswell Bicycles will not accept or consider for trade-in the following styles of bicycles:
- Generic, big box (Walmart, Target, Dick’s, etc.) brands of bikes.
- Rusted bikes, Electric bikes, recumbents, tandems, and any bike with outdated suspension which cannot be serviced anymore.
- Roswell Bicycles does have a cap limit of $700 and will not be able to exceed this amount even if trade-in value is designated to be higher by Bicycle Blue Book.
- Trade in value will be determined by using Bicycle Blue Book and their condition report card, grading by age of bike as well as cosmetic and mechanical condition. This calculated amount is different from the Value Guide (how much is your bike worth?) amount listed on their website. The Value Guide amount is what you can expect to get as a private seller.
- The owner of the trade-in will be responsible for the costs of any broken or worn-out parts needed to make the bike viable for resale. These parts will be charged to the owner at the time of trade-in.
